Roxana Massie, a WOMAN WITH DEDICATION AND VISION FOR BUSINESS
She arrived 20 years ago in Houston, United States as a student, without knowing anyone or having a close family. Roxanna always dreamed of living in this country and her focus and dedication led her to be an outstanding professional and now, a recognized entrepreneur in Charleston.
“After having gone through a serious health episode in my country, I remember a lot that I told my mother, if I’m going to die, I’m going to go to the United States because I had always wanted to learn English and live here,” said Massie.
Roxana is originally from Venezuela, she is an accountant by profession and for several years she was living in different states of the country due to her professional training. The last five years of her career were spent as controller of a cement plant and a paper plant in Charleston.

“I reached a point in my career that I wanted to close that cycle and dedicate myself to other things that I had always liked a lot, such as graphic design, interior design, among other things, so I said let’s invent and that’s where my journey began. journey as an entrepreneur”
Having prior knowledge in graphic design, this Venezuelan started offering marketing and social media management services for companies, but with the arrival of the pandemic, clients were decreasing, so Roxanna decided to do other things to support herself.
She was working as a driver for Amazon Flex, Instacar, she was certified as a notary and currently also offers interpretation services, procedures for the Department of Vehicles in South Carolina (DMV), applications for Medicaid, registration of LLC companies, among other jobs that characterize her. for being a multifaceted woman.
However, in June of last year, Roxanna was still thinking about doing something additional that would bring her a little closer to the community and she remembered that her stylist sold jewelry so she talked to her and gave her the opportunity to start this new path.
